Who said offense is dead? There was no shortage of touchdowns in Week 4 of the 2024 NFL campaign – and Over bettors went 9-7 after both Monday Night Football games cashed in. But the way Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen and Aaron Rodgers struggled to find the end zone, you’d think we were back in the 1920s. Let’s see how their respective teams are doing on our Week 5 NFL Power Rankings here at Bodog Sportsbook.

NFL BETTING

1. Baltimore Ravens (Last Week: 2)

Record: 2-2 SU and ATS
Last Game: BUF 10, BAL 35 (BAL –2.5)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +800
Key injuries: none

This is the prize for handing last week’s No. 1 team their first loss. Ravens RB Derrick Henry set a franchise record (not including the former Cleveland Browns) with an 87-yard TD run on his first hand-off. Henry finished the day with 199 yards rushing and a second major courtesy of QB Lamar Jackson.

 2. Buffalo Bills (1)

Record: 3-1 SU, 2-2 ATS

Last Game: BUF 10, BAL 35 (BAL –2.5)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +1000
Key injuries: WR Khalil Shakir (questionable, ankle)

The Bills held Jacksonville to 10 points last week, then the Ravens did the same thing to Buffalo. Those offensive linemen Buffalo lost during the offseason are coming back to haunt them.

 3. Kansas City (3)

Record: 4-0 SU, 2-1-1 ATS
Last Game: KC 17, LAC 10 (Push)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +500
Key injuries: RB Isiah Pacheco (out, fibula), WR Rashee Rice (out, knee)

Another big loss for the KC offense: Rice was carted off the field Sunday and remains uncertain for Week 5 after further tests on Monday. With WR Hollywood Brown (shoulder) on injured reserve and yet to make his 2024 debut, the defending champs are in a pickle.

4. San Francisco 49ers (4)

Record: 2-2 SU and ATS

Last Game: NE 13, SF 30 (SF –10.5)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +650
Key injuries: RB Christian McCaffrey (out, Achilles), RB Deebo Samuel (doubtful, calf), TE George Kittle (questionable, ribs)

TE George Kittle played Sunday and made San Francisco’s offense look much better, although he was limited to four catches and a touchdown on four targets – and suffered a rib injury that leaves Kittle iffy for Week 5 against Arizona.

5. Detroit Lions (5)

Record: 3-1 SU and ATS
Last Game: SEA 29, DET 42 (DET –4)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +1000
Key injuries: none

It’s a new record for QB Jared Goff: most completions in a game without an incomplete pass. Goff went 18-of-18 for 292 yards and a pair of touchdowns versus Seattle. Kurt Warner held the previous record at 10.

6. Dallas Cowboys (6)

Record: 2-2 SU, 1-3 ATS
Last Game: DAL 20, NYG 15 (NYG +5.5)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +2100
Key injuries: none

Every victory over the Giants is worth savouring when you’re a Cowboys fan. But that was still an ugly win, and it got uglier in the fourth quarter when edge rusher Micah Parsons suffered a high-ankle sprain – he’s expected to sit out Week 6 against Pittsburgh.

7. Cincinnati Bengals (10)

Record: 1-3 SU, 2-2 ATS
Last Game: CIN 34, CAR 24 (CIN –4.5)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +2800
Key injuries: none

The Bengals will have a hard time making the playoffs after starting the year 0-3, but at least they’re healthy, and they finally have their first win of the regular season under their belts.

8. Philadelphia Eagles (7)

Record: 2-2 SU and ATS
Last Game: PHI 16, TB 33 (TB +1.5)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +1400
Key injuries: WR AJ Brown (out, hamstring), WR DeVonta Smith (out, concussion)

As expected, the Philly offense suffered last week without tackle Lane Johnson, but going without their top two wideouts was even worse. Good thing the Eagles have that bye in Week 5.

9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (14)

Record: 3-1 SU and ATS
Last Game: PHI 16, TB 33 (TB +1.5)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +4000
Key injuries: WR Mike Evans (questionable, knee)

Evans just had his best game of the season against Philadelphia; now he’s uncertain for Week 5 in Atlanta after skipping Monday’s walkthrough.

10. Minnesota Vikings (13)

Record: 4-0 SU and ATS
Last Game: MIN 31, GB 29 (MIN +3)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +1400
Key injuries: WR Jordan Addison (questionable, ankle)

Outstanding defense and competent quarterbacking from Sam Darnold have Minnesota fans daring to ask: Is this the best team in the NFL? They’ll be even better once TE TJ Hockenson (knee) comes off the PUP list – he might even practice this week.

11. Seattle Seahawks (8)

Record: 3-1 SU, 1-2-1 ATS
Last Game: SEA 29, DET 42 (DET –4)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +3300
Key injuries: none

It won’t be 17-0 for the Seahawks this year, but RB Kenneth Walker III did rack up 80 yards and three touchdowns against the Lions on just 12 carries in his return from the injured list.

12. Pittsburgh Steelers (11)

Record: 3-1 SU and ATS
Last Game: PIT 24, IND 27 (IND +2)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +5000
Key injuries: QB Russell Wilson (questionable, calf), RB Jaylen Warren (questionable, knee)

The 2024 Steelers won’t go undefeated either. Warren sat out their Week 4 loss to Indianapolis, leaving utility player Cordarrelle Patterson as Pittsburgh’s de facto back-up to RB Najee Harris – except Patterson (ankle) also left the Colts game and is considered questionable for Week 5.

13. Green Bay Packers (22)

Record: 2-2 SU and ATS
Last Game: MIN 31, GB 29 (MIN +3)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +2200
Key injuries: WR Christian Watson (doubtful, ankle)

They may have lost to the dreaded Vikings, but Green Bay makes the leap this week after QB Jordan Love had a strong second half in his own return from sick bay.

14. New York Jets (9)

Record: 2-2 SU and ATS
Last Game: DEN 10, NYJ 9 (DEN +8)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +2100
Key injuries: none

Zero touchdown passes last week for QB Aaron Rodgers, who is officially listed as questionable with two sore legs, but will almost certainly start their Week 5 matchup in London, England versus Minnesota.

15. New Orleans Saints (12)

Record: 2-2 SU, 2-1-1 ATS
Last Game: NO 24, ATL 26 (Push)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +5000
Key injuries: none

Another close loss puts New Orleans back at .500; however, they might be underestimated, as they lead the NFL in net EPA (Expected Points over Average) per play at +0.28. The Vikings are second at +0.24 EPA.

16. Houston Texans (15)

Record: 3-1 SU, 0-4 ATS
Last Game: JAX 20, HOU 24 (JAX +6)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +1200
Key injuries: RB Joe Mixon (questionable, ankle), RB Dameon Pierce (questionable, hamstring)

The Texans are the biggest enigma on these rankings, but they’ll solve most of their problems if Mixon and/or Pierce can suit up this Sunday against the visiting Bills. Mixon’s status is now “day-to-day” after putting in a limited practice last Friday.

17. Atlanta Falcons (19)

Record: 2-2 SU, 1-2-1 ATS
Last Game: NO 24, ATL 26 (Push)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +2800
Key injuries: RB Bijan Robinson (questionable, hamstring), WR Ray-Ray McCloud (questionable, ankle)

Robinson was a limited participant during Monday’s practice after rushing just seven times for 28 yards last week versus New Orleans. It’s a short turnaround for Robinson and the Falcons as they prepare to face Tampa Bay on Thursday Night Football.

18. New York Giants (18)

Record: 1-3 SU, 2-2 ATS
Last Game: DAL 20, NYG 15 (NYG +5.5)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +20000
Key injuries: WR Malik Nabers (questionable, concussion)

One of the few bright spots on this team, Nabers left New York’s Week 4 loss to the Cowboys in the fourth quarter; fortunately for the G-Men, that game was last Thursday, giving Nabers more time to clear protocol for Week 5 in Seattle.

19. Los Angeles Chargers (16)

Record: 2-2 SU, 2-1-1 ATS
Last Game: KC 17, LAC 10 (Push)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +6600
Key injuries: none

QB Justin Herbert is no longer on the official injured list, but his high-ankle sprain is clearly not 100% healed – and Herbert is further limited by new head coach Jim Harbaugh’s relatively conservative offense.

20. Los Angeles Rams (17)

Record: 1-3 SU and ATS
Last Game: LAR 18, CHI 24 (CHI –3)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +8000
Key injuries: WR Puka Nacua (out, knee), WR Cooper Kupp (out, ankle), WR Demarcus Robinson (questionable, groin)

Add another Rams wideout to the injured pile. Robinson will reportedly put in limited practices this week and is expected to suit up at home against the Packers – but it’s hardly etched in stone.

21. Denver Broncos (21)

Record: 2-2 SU, 3-1 ATS
Last Game: DEN 10, NYJ 9 (DEN +8)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +15000
Key injuries: none

Are you a Bo-liever yet? Bo Nix (–0.19 EPA per dropback) is still playing like one of the worst quarterbacks in football, yet here are the Broncos at 2-2 after playing the toughest schedule in the AFC thus far.

22. Indianapolis Colts (26)

Record: 2-2 SU, 3-1 ATS
Last Game: PIT 24, IND 27 (IND +2)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +6000
Key injuries: QB Anthony Richardson (questionable, oblique),

The Colts got the W last week when QB Joe Flacco replaced the injured Richardson in the first quarter. Richardson might be all right going forward; Indy’s defensive line is a mess after DE Tyquan Lewis (elbow) went on injured reserve, joining DE Samson Ebukam (Achilles) and DT DeForest Buckner (ankle).

23. Washington Commanders (28)

Record: 3-1 SU and ATS
Last Game: WAS 42, ARZ 14 (WAS +3.5)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +5000
Key injuries: RB Austin Ekeler (questionable, concussion)

That Week 3 coming-out party wasn’t a fluke for QB Jayden Daniels. He enjoyed another strong game in Arizona, connecting on 26 of 30 passes while going sack-free; Daniels now leads the NFL at +0.41 EPA per dropback, ahead of Bills QB Josh Allen at +0.38 EPA.

24. Tennessee Titans (32)

Record: 1-3 SU and ATS
Last Game: TEN 31, MIA 12 (TEN +2.5)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +20000
Key injuries: QB Will Levis (questionable, shoulder)

Tennessee got their first win last week over the Dolphins, but that was after Levis suffered what’s believed to be a sprained AC joint after just four pass attempts. Mason Rudolph did the honours, and should continue to be a big improvement over Levis if the incumbent starter isn’t ready to return after the bye week.

25. Miami Dolphins (23)

Record: 1-3 SU, 0-4 ATS
Last Game: TEN 31, MIA 12 (TEN +2.5)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +10000
Key injuries: QB Tua Tagovailoa (out, concussion); QB Skylar Thompson (questionable, ribs), RB Raheem Mostert (questionable, chest)

It looks like the Dolphins are toast without Tagovailoa under centre. Tyler “Snoop” Huntley got the start last week against Tennessee and had his moments, but the offense as a whole was mistake-prone, and Miami’s league-average defense couldn’t save them.

26. Chicago Bears (25)

Record: 2-2 SU, 3-1 ATS
Last Game: LAR 18, CHI 24 (CHI –3)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +6000
Key injuries: none

Another three sacks eaten for QB Caleb Williams, but he also led Chicago on four scoring drives (three TDs and a figgie) in what was easily his finest performance as a pro. Baby steps.

27. Arizona Cardinals (20)

Record: 1-3 SU, 2-2 ATS
Last Game: WAS 42, ARZ 14 (WAS +3.5)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +8000
Key injuries: TE Trey McBride (questionable, concussion)

There’s no running game or pass rush to speak of in Glendale, leaving the Cards underwater at –0.08 net EPA per play (No. 21 overall) despite their promising air attack.

28. Las Vegas Raiders (27)

Record: 2-2 SU and ATS
Last Game: CLE 16, LV 20 (LV –1.5)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +12500
Key injuries: WR Davante Adams (questionable, hamstring)

You know it’s bad for the Raiders when they drop another spot despite beating Cleveland. Things will only get worse if Adams, arguably their best player, is unavailable for Sunday’s matchup in Denver after sitting out Week 4.

29. Carolina Panthers (24)

Record: 1-3 SU and ATS
Last Game: CIN 34, CAR 24 (CIN –4.5)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +40000
Key injuries: RB Jonathon Brooks (out, knee), WR Adam Thielen (out, hamstring)

While the Panthers may be falling back down to the bottom, QB Andy Dalton has played at close to league-average since taking over for the supremely ineffective Bryce Young.

30. Jacksonville Jaguars (29)

Record: 0-4 SU, 2-2 ATS
Last Game: JAX 20, HOU 24 (JAX +6)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +10000
Key injuries: TE Evan Engram (questionable, hamstring)

They came out with some fire last week, but the Jags remain winless heading into their bye week. Expect big changes with this team, maybe even the dismissal of head coach Doug Pederson.

31. Cleveland Browns (30)

Record: 1-3 SU and ATS
Last Game: CLE 16, LV 20 (LV –1.5)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +6600
Key injuries: TE David Njoku (questionable, ankle)

Njoku will return to practice this week and might be healthy enough to face the Commanders in Week 5; the Browns also expect RB Nick Chubb (knee) back at practice Wednesday, although he won’t be cleared right away after missing over a year of action.

32. New England Patriots (31)

Record: 1-3 SU, 1-2-1 ATS
Last Game: NE 13, SF 30 (SF –10.5)
Super Bowl Odds at Bodog: +25000
Key injuries: none

Somebody has to be at the bottom of this list – although the Patriots are under-valued after playing such a tough schedule to start the season. They move all the way up to No. 29 in net EPA per play at –0.26.
